Youth & Family Outreach

Our youth programs focus on supporting young people (approximately ages 13-19) and their families through challenging times. We provide advocacy, system navigation, goal-setting support, and connection to resources.

Our Youth Services

Youth Outreach & Support

One-on-one support for youth facing challenges related to family, school, housing, mental health, or life transitions.

  • Confidential, non-judgmental support
  • Active listening and emotional support
  • Help setting and working toward personal goals
  • Connection to appropriate community resources
  • Support navigating complex systems

Family Systems Navigation

Helping youth and families access and navigate services including education, health, housing, and social supports.

  • Understanding available services and eligibility
  • Support completing applications and forms
  • Advocacy with service providers
  • Coordination between multiple services
  • Connection to specialized youth services

Youth Advocacy

Standing alongside youth to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met within various systems.

  • Advocacy in educational settings
  • Support accessing mental health services
  • Help navigating legal or housing issues
  • Empowering youth to self-advocate
  • Referrals to specialized advocates when needed

Goal-Setting & Life Skills

Working with youth to identify goals and develop skills for independent living and personal growth.

  • Ongoing check-ins and accountability

What We Do NOT Provide

  • Clinical mental health treatment (we can help connect youth to these services)
  • Crisis intervention (please call crisis lines for immediate help)
  • Long-term housing or financial assistance
  • Legal advice or medical care
